Wednesday, April 28, 2021
8:00 p.m. Eastern
Speaker: Dr. Christopher Pramuk

A lifelong musician and student of African American music, history, and spirituality, Dr. Christopher Pramuk invites us into the heart of the Ignatian imagination and the Jesuit commitment to social justice and cross-cultural encounter through the life and music of Stevie Wonder. How is it that a blind man can be teaching us how better to see?

Speaker Bio: Christopher Pramuk is an associate professor of theology and the University Chair of Ignatian Thought and Imagination at Regis University in Denver. He is the author of two award-winning studies of Thomas Merton, as well as Hope Sings, So Beautiful: Graced Encounters Across the Color Line, a meditation on race relations in society and church.
