Black Elk models the very kind of “missionary discipleship” that Pope Francis is calling the lay faithful to embrace as part of their own path of holiness. Nicholas Black Elk, a Holy Man of the Oglala Lakota (Sioux) and a Catholic husband, father, grandfather and elder, became an energetic catechist who brought 400 people to Jesus Christ during his lifetime. Join us for our spring luncheon to hear more about his story.
