Speaker: Peggy Roberts, The Riverside Company
Speaker Bio: Ms. Peggy Roberts joined Riverside in 2004 and is currently Managing Partner and co-Fund Manager of the Riverside Capital Appreciation Fund (“RCAF”). Ms. Roberts has responsibility for the full breadth of organizational initiatives and priorities within the fund, including: management of the fund’s Human Capital; investor relations and fundraising; marketing and deal origination initiatives; and managing due diligence tools and third-party relationships.
Previously at Riverside, Ms. Roberts was Managing Director of Organizational Development, a role she held from 2005-2010. As head of the firm’s Organizational Development area, she oversaw Human Resources, IT, and Strategic Planning for Riverside, globally.
Prior to joining Riverside, Ms. Roberts spent two years as an Associate at Harris Williams & Co. and also worked at Robertson Stephens Inc. as a Senior Associate in the corporate finance, software division after earning her MBA with distinction from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia (2001). Prior to earning her MBA, Ms. Roberts worked as a consultant for four years in the Washington, DC office of Accenture, where she focused on business process and change management projects in the Telecommunications industry. She holds a BS in German from Georgetown University (1995).
